The early Vigotone releases differ quite a bit from the later releases. First of all, they all them have "Made In ECC" on the packaging. (The later Vigotone releases had "Made In Australia" on the discs themselves.). They all have 1990 copyrights on them. What's more, the matrix numbers on the CDs themselves do not match the catalog numbers on the packaging. The early Vigotone releases didn't have the "Vigotone Man" on the labels (he only appeared on the cover). Finally, no CDR versions of the early titles were released by Vigotone themselves, but CDR knockoffs are starting to turn up these days.

Each 1990 release has reversed matrix numbers that match the item number printed on the disc, but not on the packaging. They have a disclaimer running around the edge, but one that is in French. The shiny silver (aka "mirrored") area runs from the inner "etched" band to the hole. There is no clear plastic visible.
